Just had to send this.....

Hi all, Devin had a tournament this weekend and this picture was taken by the photographer, while he was on the bench. They are going to use it for their display when they are at hockey tournaments. The joy in his face says it all and he wasnt even playing that game. Anyway, we did not do well, played against really tough teams; however, Devin did awesome as usual. In one game he stopped 63 of 68 shots. He was congratulated by the other coach and someone from another team said that we were not to worry, his goalie skills precede him down state. People are already talking............! Anyway, we won 2 of 4 games. I love and miss everyone, and will let the sisters know our next theme by the end of the week. Love and kisses, Es.

Ok, Its my turn now

Hello all. Well I have to get into the action of bragging also. Maya won the Nobel Peace Price for her rendition of Green Eggs and Ham. She is the youngest recipient and boy are we proud. She has been accepted to represent the USA for the next Olypics for gymnastics!!!! How cool is that. And.......she also got a recording contract from United Records. So, now just see if you can top that!!!! hahahah Im just joshing you. I am so proud to hear how our grandbabies are doing. I miss them so much every day, its wierd. Im telling you guys, one or more of those kids are going to be famous some day and we will be reaping the benefits of being in the front row or in the owners box watching them. Please tell them their aunt Cindy and Uncle Ed are very proud of them and to keep up the good work. I video with Maya and Reese and she is cute as a button. Usually waits until we are ready to say goodbye to get really cute and wave and blow kisses and make sounds. Im dying to get my hands on her, thats for sure. I think she is going to be a little fiest, but will have to wait and see. We did set up some time to be with her yesterday with Reese and Kelly. We will meet them half way between states on November 16th. We will all have dinner and stay in a hotel and then Ed and I will bring Maya home with us for a four days. Then we will drive to Virginia the day before Thanksgiving, go half way and stay in a hotel and make it in for Thanksgiving with the kids and to take Maya back. We will stay with the kids until Saturday afternoon and then head back to Kentucky. Man, the things we do to be with our grandbabies. Hey, I will take all the time I can get!!!! Im sorry I didnt do a holy picture, I had ideas but never had my camera when I saw them. I promise to do better this month. We are excited about Rose and Larry coming! Need some family bad!!! Linda I sent you a small package with your feet in the water picture. There is also another picture behind that one. Please let me know when you get it. Es, I tried to call you last night to get some Christmas plans set up. Give me a call some time so I can see if you will have room or not. Love to all of you. Notice none of the kids are using this site any more? Wonder why.....Love and hugs, Cindy

Another Proud Oma

Let me first say congratulations to the Holmes boys, can only add it had to come from our side of the family........lol. Keep us posted Nana! Mine are also doing very well in school; however, their sports side is my braggadocia for today. Reese had a soccer game yesterday and scored three goals and two assists. They won 12-1 and he is in love with the sport..... Devin had his second league game yesterday against a tough team, they won 4-2 and he had 36 shots on goal. They are now 2-0 in their division. Tate has a game today, he is doing well and skating well; however, isnt quite sure that it is his sport. He is still very young and will try different ones to find the one suited for him. Rose enjoy your little get away with Cindy, kiss and hug her for me. Love and miss you all. Keep the photos coming, still havent seen a "holy" picture from you Cin and all of you need to work on this months theme. I am thinking up one for next month, havent decided yet. Es.

A proud Nana!

Hi girls!
Just a quick note to say HI and do a little bragging for a minute! My two grandsons are being registered for the MATS program (hope I spelled it right) at their school. They qualify because of their high MEAPS scores of last fall. The MATS is Michigan Acedemic and Talent Search, a higher level testing for gifted and talented students! I knew they were smart but this is amazing! I will be anxious to see the results of this...will let you know when I do.
Nathan is playing soccer again and loves the game. He does his best but unfortunatly never gets on a mature team...always beginners and younger kids. His team won last Sat. and Nathan made the first goal....he was very proud of that! Logan begins basketball in a month and Sis goes into gymnastics which is good for her coordination. They are doing well in their new school and the teachers love them. They are growing into really nice kids.....I am proud of them. All is well here and at their house. Larry and I are anxious to head for Kentucky.....will be a nice get away for a few days! Fall is slowly turning into winter....its cold now! We had our woodstove going last nite while we watched tv before bed! Leaves are falling all around us and the house gets quite chilly during the day. I cleaned up my studio a couple days ago and am anxious to start my next projects. I love my little studio!
Hope you are all well. Es and I had a nice movie nite this week because Stan is in Florida...thanks Es! Lin, I am still not getting your mail! I will check my spam box to see if my mail is automatically going in there. Cin....we are almost on our way!! See you soon.
I love you each and every one...take care!
Love, Rose

A Hello!

A Hello to you all!
Just wanted to check in and say howdy! Recently got back from a weekend campout with friends up north. Our long time friends, the Priems, have 40 acres north of us, way back in the woods in bear country! A group of 10 or more take our campers up and park in wagon train fashion around the house. We have a big camp fire every night and listen to the coyotes howl and owls screech. Everyone brings two or three dishes to pass and we feast very well the whole weekend! We go out to breakfast, go north to a junk place for some real treasure hunting and just laugh like there is no tomorrow! We have such fun! I always hate to see the weekends end. Next trip is off to Kentucky! We will go spend 5 days with the Smiths at their lovely house....cannot wait!
Hope you are all thinking hard on the next photo theme...I already have one winning photo and will get a few more when I get to Cindy's. She and I will scour the countryside while the boys go golfing! And we will get in some Flea Market wandering too! Will write more when we get back home. Till later.....
Love and hugs to all,
Rose
